I, too, read this series as each episode originally came out and I completely enjoyed it. The pace is fast and at times you're wondering what kind of surprises await you as you read. I've never read a series like this one before getting each book and I was anxiously waiting for the newest installment to come out and when it did I quickly devoured it. If you like action and suspense then you'll completely enjoy this series. I promise you, you will not be disappointed at all.Product details

The box set is lengthy. Often time a large read becomes boring as the author seems to stray to fill pages. Not the case here. Final Dawn kept me coming for evert page. Great story, great characters, new twist on the end of days. Highly recommend.
I choose this rating simply because I enjoyed every page of this Book. I love how the storyline Catches my attention, this book had me tense all the way the end. I started reading this book in january of 2017, because of my busy schedule I never Maintain my reading. However when hurricane Maria struck my Small Island on september 18th 2017. This left Us without electricity, internet,cut off road access to name a few. At this point I had so much time on my hands that to keep sane I Went back to reading. This book keep me grounded during the long nights, I enjoyed every moment. I Would recommend this book to anyone who loves to read, In fact I have shared this on facebook as a Must read. Thank you Mr Kraus
Rarely does a novel grab and keep me to the end without skipping a lot of the BS that has nothing to do with anything. BUT, I skipped nothing in this book! It held me and that is rare. I loved reading it and if you're into this genre I recommend you read it too!
I think this is the most original story line I have read in the last year. I also appreciated that Mr. Kraus restrained from bashing God . The box set was long enough to be satisfying and a great value at the low price.
This book was a new genre for me insofar as the technological aspects were concerned. It's not that I am ignorant of tech stuff but some of the ideas and concepts were foreign to me at times. As a consequence, I found myself lacking on information on what was being written and I had a bit of difficulty grasping what was happening so there were more than one or two paragraphs I found myself just skipping over completely.
The techno-speak was lost on me so I skimmed past it.
Another issue I had was the sometimes outlandish curiosity the characters displayed when it was OBVIOUS they would run into danger that, in the story, would have been avoided in "real" life by REAL humans. Their actions and activities wouldn't actually happen regardless of the curiosity factor of a "real" human. Especially when considering they exposed themselves to danger that didn't lend credence to their actions. But they stuck their necks out and gambled with their curiosity, almost lost their live just because they wanted to know "what's that noise" and the knowledge neither enhanced their survival prospects or provide them info on how they could use such knowledge to defeat their adversaries.
But, by golly, they learned some Gee Whiz info and went on their merry way. In a nutshell, those types of instances merely added words to the manuscript but did nothing to enhance its flavor, if you will.
It is for those verbose inclusions I rated this book a 4 instead of a 5 star rating. And, in truth, I would have rated it with a 3.5 star rating if that was an option.
It was those types of nonsensical (to me) inclusions that I came within a gnats hair of putting the book down, walking away and refusing to complete it.
However, all in all I DID finish the book and glad I did. I provided me numerous hours of (mostly) enjoyable reading and for that reason I thank you for your time, talent and efforts.
The Series, “Final Dawn” by Mike Kraus is one of the best post-apocalyptic book series I have ever read. The characters are well developed and fascinating. The overall adventure is awesome. I’m sure “Final Dawn” will keep you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend “Final Dawn”, you won’t be disappointed!

Mike Krause has taken a scientific apocalypse and manage to write it in a compelling and understandable way. The story line is tight and moves at a breakneck pace. What Author Krause has excelled at is using descriptive prose to keep the reader engaged and wanting more... thank you for a brilliantly written novel!
